Hi folks,

I'm Moonvoice. I have Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disoder (C-PTSD) which comes with a whole bevy of side effects of which depression and anxiety are the least of my worries. Flashbacks, exaggerated startle response, hyperarousal, paranoia, dysphoria... it's not very much fun.

Currently I'm trying to go for a full disability pension, and I'm a bit worried about it. I'd really rather not go through stress of it at all, but I can't afford the actual things that are helping me at the moment (like therapy and such) otherwise. :/

Anyway, I'm glad to be here. Mad Jack is a legend, and I know that this will be a good place.

Thank you for sharing with us, to start...disability issues can be hell on their own...and it's ironic that you need to have that income based upon your disability in order to pay for the treatment of said disability...heh.

You've just given me a thought for a new board, too.
